Note from NetMore's CEO about K3's President:
“I have been impressed with James’ ability to quickly assimilate information from an industry that he has had little exposure to, capture the vision of the company, prioritize the needs and deliver cohesive technology pieces that truly help us win. I would highly recommend James for any technology development needs you might have.”
Mark Freedle
President/CEO, NetMore America, Inc.
Security, reliability, and usability were the primary driving factors in the application's design and deployment. To guarantee a high level of usability K3 Integrations worked closely with the banking company's Chief Information Officer and Chief Strategy Officer to design an application that would accommodate and enhance the employee's workflow. All web communication is SSL encrypted and protected by a robust user login system. Reliability is a key tenant of enterprise level development; a solid testing strategy is critical. All code goes through rigorous review and automated testing procedures. Application updates are first published to a staging server where the developers continue testing and can involve the client's quality assurance team before each update is pushed to the production server.
The reporting system takes data from the Loan Origination System, then filters and formats it for specific needs. Reports can be viewed on-line or downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet or CSV data file. For longer running reports, the system can queue reports to run after hours, thus allowing users to immediately see the information they need.
In the Mortgage industry, customer data is made available on a need to know basis. A flexible permissions management system is always critical when there are many users and a large amount of sensitive data. Dashboard was built from the ground up to permit fine-grain control over who has access to specific information. For example, the CEO is a member of the executive role which has access to all company data, but the receptionist, as a member of the secretarial role, may only need access to a limited set of reports or files. Additional access rights can also be set for an individual user.
Alerts facilitate inter-company communication by allowing employees to quickly send messages to relevant groups of users based on their role in the company. Dashboard is more effective than email or instant messaging because it already has an accurate list of users and their functions. Alerts also take full advantage of Dashboard's permission system, thus providing fine-grain control over who is permitted to send messages to whom.
